Highlights from Care Roadshow Leeds

Highlights from Care Roadshow Leeds

Earlier this week, Care Roadshows stopped off at the Cedar Court Hotel Bradford where care professionals met with a host of suppliers of specialist care sector products and services. Many visitors also enjoyed the free seminars and workshops that took place throughout the day as well as the opportunity to connect and re-connect with contacts from the sector.

Take a look at some of the highlights from the day:

Robert Tovey, CQC Head of Inspection for Adult Social Care North West, had only standing room left for his popular seminar ‘How Good Are You – Preparing for a Rating Inspection’.

Nicola Venus-Balgobin from Sense for Deafblind People had everyone in her interactive workshops trying on blindfolds and ear defenders to help understand some of the issues surrounding sensory loss.

The event gave visitors the opportunity to speak face to face with suppliers to find exactly how products and services on display are able to enhance their individual settings.

The event also provided visitors with a chance to get hands-on with products and be able to try them out for themselves.

And finally, after a hard day of discovering new products/services and learning from seminars and workshops, there were lots of tasty treats to keep energy levels up!

Care Roadshows are also coming to Liverpool, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol. Click here to register for your free tickets to these events.
