10 Nov Brands Booked & Seminars Scheduled
With months still to go, stands for the trade exhibition are selling fast and many major brands within the early years sector having already secured their places including Morton Michel, HABA, Wesco, Hope Education, STABILO and The Childcare Company. These exhibitors and many more will be showcasing their latest products and services, creating the perfect opportunity for anyone working within the early years sector to source items for their settings.
Childcare Expo LondonAlongside the exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to top-up their knowledge by attending educational seminars running throughout both days of the event. Friday’s sessions include ‘Developing Communication, Language and Literacy skills through the Arts’ from Earlyarts Director Ruth Churchill Dower and ‘Supporting Children’s Schema Outdoors’ from Gail Ryder Richardson. The Friday will also see sessions from Montessori Centre International, Pre-school Learning Alliance and renowned early years consultant Di Chilvers.
On the Saturday, the NDNA will kick off the seminars with ‘Developing Literacy Superheroes’ followed by a session from the Children’s Food Trust which will examine opportunities childcare providers can take to help improve nutrition and tackle childhood obesity. Lorraine Petersen will also be running a seminar on the Saturday covering the hot topic of children with SEND in early years settings.
For those looking to find out more about forest schools but are unsure how to use this ethos in urban settings, Christina Dee from Forest School Learning Initiative will be running a seminar to help. Dr Marion Nash from Spirals Training will be finishing the seminar programme off with her ideas packed session ‘Effective Ideas to Support the Development of Early Language and Communication’.
