Interactive Features For Early Years Professionals

Interactive Features For Early Years Professionals

Next week the doors to Childcare Expo London 2016 will open at Olympia at 10am on both Friday 4th and Saturday 5th March. Show organisers Broadway Events have more features than ever lined-up for the early years community to get involved in, including educational seminars, hands-onworkshops and the ‘Wild Place to Play’.

Event director Emma Barrett commented “with visitor registration up by 27% compared to this time last year, we are looking forward to welcoming thousands of early years professionals to the show this March. The childcare sector is such a passionate group to work with that it is always a joy being able to offer visitors vital information about the latest industry updates, products & services and new ideas. We are really excited this year to be able to offer lots of interactive features at the show such as the Ideas Wall, Snap & Share Zone and Star Product Award and we hope everyone that comes along gets involved and has a fantastic time.”

The Star Product Award highlights some of the key products and services available from the range of exhibitors at the show. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite from the list of nominations and everyone who casts a vote will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a Mini Mark Maker’s Floor Easel from TTS.

Another of the interactive features available is the Wild Place to Play Zone created by The Childcare Company. An array of areas from a bug table to a jungle weather board and elephant models to feely boxes will help guide early years practitioners on some new ideas for planning their own learning environments. With all the areas already tried andtested by children from Wellingtons Day Nursery and some of their creations displayed in the zone, visitors will see real life examples of how these ideas perform in settings. If all these jungle themes are not enough to bring out your wild side, then you can watch the creative rendition of some dances from the Lion King performed by children from Langley Hall Primary Academy to enlighten your imagination.
