New faces at Childcare Expo

New faces at Childcare ExpoA few weeks have passed since Childcare Expo hosted their seventh annual event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The large number of visitors who attended across both days proved that there is a need for a show like this that brings inspiration and resources to the early years community with an abundance of activities, seminars and workshops in between in a fun and informative way.

Childcare Expo Midlands saw new faces through the doors as well as new exhibitors who waited in anticipation to witness for themselves the strong and passionate community that we work for including Anthea Harding, Active Start and Bradleys Surfacing Systems. As Anthea rightly explained, “There’s something about the audience – they are engaged and interested in what you have to say and in finding new resources to enhance their early years settings.”

The deciding factor when booking the event focussed on location, target audience and promoting products and services in a brand new way for each of these companies. When we spoke to Active Start at the exhibition, we asked them what they consider to be good qualities from an event such like this;

“It’s the diverse range of people we have met who work in the early years sector that makes this event a great experience as it offers us a fantastic opportunity to network and have valuable conversations with the right people.”

For those who are part of the early years community, either as a dedicated worker or supplier, will know the passion and drive to continue to stay up to date as well as introduce new ways for children to learn and develop during their time in EYFS. Anthea highlighted the importance of early years, “What we learn influences who we become– if we get this bit right then children can grow up to be both mentally and physically healthy.”New faces at Childcare Expo 2

Tom Bradley from Bradley Surfacing Systems pointed out the number of new developments in the industry and the range of different suppliers present at Childcare Expo Midlands proves this; “We have been welcomed by Childcare Expo with open arms and the show experience has enabled us to get in front of our target audience to demonstrate our products.”

The feedback we received from our exhibitors onsite was overwhelming and we want to thank not only our lovely visitors, but also the exhibitors who contribute to make Childcare Expo the success it is today.
